If you own one or a few bearded dragons, there are someimportant things that you have to keep in mind. Although there will be timeswhen these reptiles will not get along with each other but it will depend on acase-to-case basis. During mating season, male bearded dragons usually becomevery aggressive towards the females that is why it is important to keep them separated to protect the latter. If you push through and still opt to put two bearded dragons of different sexes together, make sure you are prepared to separate them when needed.

Bearded dragons are usually kept in big housings becausethey are territorial and need to have their spot. The recommended tank size isaround 125-gallons if you want to house more than one.

If you want to keep bearded dragons together, make surethey are of the same size to stay clear of the big dragons controlling those ofthe smaller size.

It is important to never put two or more male beardeddragons in the same tank.

Female bearded dragons should be placed in a differenthousing as male dragons only until the time she reaches mating season. Keepyour female bearded dragons healthy since the younger and smaller dragons tendto have problems with egg binding.

Take your pet to your animal hospital Middletown, DE for regular health and dental checks.
