Yes, birds can overheat very quickly. It’s important to always check on your bird to ensure he has plenty of water and is behaving normally. If it’s especially hot outdoors then you may want to move your bird away from windows that attract sunlight and keep him in a cool place. You can also pull the curtains or blinds to cover the window and prevent the sunlight from coming through directly.
