Don’t worry. Your dog shouldn’t be eating crayons, but it is actually a pretty common happening when it comes to dogs and kids. If your dog eats a crayon, immediately try to take the crayon from him (if it’s not already gone). Check the crayon or another crayon from the pack to find out if it’s non-toxic. Most crayons today are non-toxic; however, you should always check. If it’s not non-toxic or you can’t tell whether it’s toxic or not then call your vet right away. If it’s non-toxic, you can still call your vet but you will most likely not need to go in for a checkup. Simply keep an eye on your dog and wait for him to poop it out. You should see colorful poop, but that’s about it. If your dog shows signs of discomfort, constipation, nausea, vomiting, etc. please call your vet clinic Frisco, TX for help.
