Nail trimming or claw trimming can be a bit intimidating for some cat owners. If your cat needs her nails trimmed, but you aren’t to keen on doing it yourself then you should give your vet or local grooming salon a call. Most vet offices will trim nails for cats and/or dogs for a small office charge (i.e.$20). Some grooming salons will take in walk in appointments when it’s just nail trimmings. You can call your vet or the grooming salon to schedule a trim. If you do want to do it yourself, make sure you have the right type of nail clippers and also keep styptic powder on hand.
