Now that winter is upon us you may find it a little more difficult to walk with your dog outdoors. One solution is to find an indoor dog park. If there isn’t one in your area then look for a place to walk your dog that is plowed regularly. For instance, neighborhoods with sidewalks often have the sidewalks plowed. This would be an ideal place to walk your dog when the snow is high and you need a cleared pathway. If you walk your dogs on a treated sidewalk or roadway make sure you rinse your dog’s paws with warm water when you return home. You can also use a pet wipe to clean the paws.
